The copper cauldron which would have held the flame for this year's Arctic Winter Games in Whitehorse and was meant to be unveiled a month ago March 15th during the opening ceremonies marking the Games' 50th anniversary will live on.
The games were cancelled March 7th due to concerns surrounding the COVID-19 pandemic.
Copper sculptor Brian Walker says it took him about five months to complete the cauldron, alongside his son, who stepped in to help after Walker broke his leg.
Now, the cauldron's creator is sharing images of his work, whose carved faces are meant to convey the idea children are wealth.
