A Brazilian cowboy is to arrive on horseback in Calgary tomorrow after riding roughly 34 hundred kilometres from Anchorage, Alaska in May of last year.
Filipe Masetti Leite will arrive on what would have been the first day of the Calgary Stampede, and while there won't be a crowd, he says he'll get to the city in time for a small ceremony.
In previous years, he rode from Calgary to Brazil, and from Brazil to Patagonia. But he says this journey, which he began in May 2019, will be his last long ride.
