Carmacks Man Charged with Second Degree Murder

Tyler Skookum is in custody on charges he killed Wilfred (Dickie) Charlie

The RCMP say 27-year-old Tyler Skookum of Carmacks is charged with second murder of Wilfred (Dickie) Charlie.

Skookum was arrested Thursday. He appeared in court Friday, where he was remains in custody.

Charlie was last seen near his home in the Carmacks area on, June 19th.

His body was found in the Yukon River near Fort Selkirk on July 5th.
