Members of the Whitehorse community will be holding another vigil this weekend to recognize Black and Indigenous lives taken in Canada and the US.
The vigil is going to be held this weekend from 12-2 pm down at the totem pole on main street. Local volunteers will be on site to support those in need of support. Due to COVID-19, organizers ask that folks respect social distancing practices.
This response is among many happening across Canada and the United states calling for action regarding police brutality and anti-black and anti-indigenous racism.
